Car sales in Estonia accelerate by 5% in January-October

Print versionThe Estonian Car Sales and Servicing Companies Union AMTEL data indicates that 1,791 new cars were sold in Estonia in October 2013, which was around two hundred more than in September or October last year, LETA/Äripäev.ee reports.

The ten months' new car sales are by 5% higher than at the same time last year, at 16,959.
The most popular car brand was in October this year Toyota with 251 cars sold, followed by Škoda with 192 cars and Volkswagen with 153 cars.
20 electric cars were sold in October.
376 new utility vehicles were sold in October. Peugeot was on the first position with 54 vehicles, followed by Citroen with 47.
