Tuuletraal OÜ board member Eero Saava said that they intend to build five circular islands with 100 metre diameter in the depth of 20–25 metres in the Livonian Bay to build there a fish farm, bio-gas stations to process waste etc, writes Saarte Hääl.
Saava said that farming around ten species of fish is considered for the farm. "Our interest is to start using the sea area multifunctionally," he added but didn’t reveal details, referring to business secrets.
This week, Tuuletraal OÜ submitted the 50-year housing permit application to the economy and communications ministry. "We just made the first step. This is a costly and most likely very long and big process, preparing which takes ten years," said Saava.
