airBaltic improves service to Croatian Rijeka

Today, Latvian airline airBaltic introduces an additional flight frequency from Riga to Rijeka on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. The improved service will offer convenient travel between the two airports, and beyond to destinations in the Baltics, Scandinavia, Russia, and the CIS, informs BC vice president of corporate communications at airBaltic Janis Vanags.

airBaltic will fly from Riga to Rijeka twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Passengers will board a Boeing 737-300 aircraft for a flight that will last for 2 hours and 25 minutes. One-way ticket prices will start at LVL 55 (EUR 77), including airport fees and transaction costs.

 

For summer 2013, airBaltic has introduced six new destinations – Prague (Czech Republic), Heviz-Balaton (Hungary), Olbia (Sardinia, Italy), Rijeka (Croatia), Larnaca (Cyprus), and Malta.
