Tallink sees passenger number increase by 8% in May

Print versionEstonia’s largest passenger shipping company AS Tallink Grupp told NASDAQ OMX Tallinn that in May 2013, AS Tallink Grupp transported 792,574 passengers which is nearly 8% increase compared to May 2012, writes LETA.

The number of passenger vehicles increased by almost 6% to 97,684 and the number of trucks and trailers increased more than 9% to 27,533 units in same comparison.
The number of passengers on the Finland-Sweden route increased by 8.6% in May as compared to May last year; on the Estonia-Finland route it grew by 6.4%, on the Estonia-Sweden route it grew by 11.5% and the number of passengers on the Latvia-Sweden route grew by 7.3%.
