Henceforth, this center offers a possibility for industrial companies located in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia to purchase the equipment necessary for the continuous production within 24 hours of order placement. The Lithuanian company has invested approximately 50,000 euros in the equipment of this new center, informs LETA.
"Our collaboration with Motovario lasts for already 17 years, so gained confidence has influenced Italian company's decision from all Baltic States opt for Lithuania,” says Virginijus Gumbaragis, general manager of the company PakMarkas.
“So far the delivery of standard reducers for local market – Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia-took about 1.5 or two weeks. Now, when the reducer assembly center is open in Lithuania, it is possible to fulfil a standard order within 24 hours. Owing to these changes, companies will avoid production downtime due to equipment failure and also there will be no need to search for premises for the storage of spare parts. The certificate awarded by Motovario obligates us to comply with the requirements set by this world-famous company, therefore, even though a long-term collaboration is established, Lithuanians’ readiness to represent the company was examined particularly accurately. The audit on the process of reducer assembly was conducted and the list of tools was accurately checked, then it was asked to assemble reducers and send them to the factory located in Italy where company's professional technicians disassembled these reducers and tested the work done by the PakMarkas specialists," Gumbaragis explained the process of preparation for certification.
More than 20 reducers have been assembled within the first two weeks of the certification award.
“The fact that some reducers from the first consignment were sold to the companies located in Latvia, Estonia and Russia just confirms that there is a market demand for this service,” notices the head of PakMarkas.
“Moreover, at the new reducer assembly center we have started repairing the old reducers because now we have all necessary equipment and a warehouse for spare parts,” Gumbaragis said.
Throughout the coming year, PakMarkas plans to increase the sale of reducers by 20% as compared to last year, when reducers were delivered from the producers.
The service for the reducer assembly is relevant to all industrial companies, such as food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, wood processing, etc., where the equipment items are continuously used.
