Kaunas Airport offers flights to Moscow for convenience of passengers from Russia

Russian airline Rusline will start operating from Kaunas Airport to Moscow's Domodedovo Airport and back starting from June 16, 2013; the airport's General Director at interim Jurate Baltrusaityte noted that it will give Russian travelers an opportunity to reach the Western European destinations in a more convenient and pocket-friendly way, writes LETA.

The flights will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays.

 

Kaunas Airport passengers will have the convenience of reaching Moscow in just 1 hour and 40 minutes with a comfortable Bombardier 50 seater CRJ200.

 

"Kaunas – Moscow route expands our destination map adding the 21st destination from Kaunas. Passengers from Russia will have an opportunity to reach the Western European cities via Kaunas Airport in a more convenient and cheaper way", said Jurate Baltrusaityte, General Director at interim.

 

Aircrafts will depart from Moscow on Wednesdays and Sundays at 11:00 and will land at Kaunas Airport at 11:40 local time. Flights back to Moscow will also be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays. The aircraft from Kaunas will depart at 12:40 and will land in Moscow at 15:20 local time. The inaugural flight to Moscow will start on 16th of June and the flights will be operated until the 23rd of October, 2013. The flight fares on one side will start from 310 litas, including taxes and charges.

 

The tickets are already on sale on airline's website www.rusline.aero and ticket booking systems Amadeus and Sirena 2000. The summer season route network also includes flights to Cyprus, Malta, Palma de Mallorca, Alicante, Cagliari, Trapani, Kos, Rhodes, Dublin, London (Stansted, Gatwick, Luton), Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Oslo, Stockholm, Tampere, Frankfurt and Riga.
