Air Lituanica plans to start flights on June 30

Print versionLithuania's new airline Air Lituanica, expects to perform its first flight on June 30, Lithuanian media reported. The first routes are planned to Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin, writes LETA/ELTA.

Air Lituanica will further add flights to Munich, Moscow, and Prague, Lrytas.lt reports.
The company plans to become a demanded regional carrier which would offer flights to Western Europe, Scandinavian countries and Russia.
The company would offer two classes – economy class and business class, according to Air Lituanica Commerce Director Simonas Bartkus.
Air Lituanica will serve flights with Embraer 170 plane.
Now 83% of the airline's shares belong to Vilnius municipality via a company Start Vilnius, and the rest 17% – to a new company Air Lituanica Group, joining 15 private investors.
