Eesti Post revenues grew by 9% in Q1

Print versionEstonian state-owned postal concern Eesti Post posted a turnover of 12.6 million euros in the first quarter of the year 2013, a growth by 9% in a year, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The company's board member Aavo Kärmas said that the company considers the growth in logistics sector turnover the most important – both transport and information logistics volumes grow strong. The turnover in logistics services grew by 32%, postal services by 2%, information logistics that covers the company's e-services 23% in a year. The revenues on electrically sent bills grew by 44%.
The biggest spending in the company was payroll costs that reached 6 mln euros.
Eesti Post is a state-owned company that has 2,539 employees.
