Latvian glass design brand an&angel wins prestigious Red Dot award

Print versionLatvian glass design brand an&angel has won the prestigious Red Dot "Product Design" award in the "Tableware and Decoration" category, an&angel Public Relations Manager Regina Ikala told LETA/Nozare.lv.

an&angel received the award for its DECO Collection, created in 2012. The collection is unique in employing a special innovative technology, developed by an&angel designers, that makes it possible to produce elegant tableware using glass coating technology.
The an&angel team is honored to receive such a coveted award, said Ikala.
Artis Nimanis, Creative Director and Designer of an&angel brand, said: "I'm very honored an&angel DECO Collection has received such international recognition; it's the best reward one can get for the long-lasting effort to come up with state-of-the-art methods in product design that not only are aesthetic but also functional.
