Print versionIn 2012 compared with 2011, Lithuania's exports of services increased by 22.8%, i.e. LTL 2.9 billion (EUR 839.8 billion) up to record high LTL 15.7 billion (EUR 4.5 billion), reports LETA/ELTA.

According to the preliminary data, last year Lithuania's service export growth was the fastest among all the European Union countries second year in a row. In 2012 for the first time since 2006 Lithuania surpassed Estonia in value of service export.
In 2012 Lithuania's annual export growth was the fastest among the three Baltic countries. Compared to 2011, Lithuania's export of services grew by 22.8%, Estonia's – 8.8%, Latvia's – 10.1% and 4.7% in the entire EU.
