Telegraph: Estonia is the European investment opportunity of the year 2012

Print versionBritish newspaper The Telegraph listed the best and worst real estate-related events in UK, and the world and gave Estonia the title of "European investment opportunity of the year", Äripäev.ee/LETA reports.

The newspaper estimates that Estonia currently seems to be the hottest investment opportunity in Eastern Europe.
"According to figures from Knight Frank, prices in the capital Tallinn rose by an impressive 13.9 percent in the year to summer 2012," the newspaper said, adding that golf is catching on in a big way, and a major new residential resort, the Estonia Golf and Country Club, epitomizes the fast-changing face of the Baltic region.
The newspaper says that Estonia has been a pioneer of internet-technology, and is well placed to succeed in the coming decades.
