One of Estonia's most successful entrepreneurs, Skinest Group owner Oleg Ossinovski expanded his railway business to Finland and intends to start renting cargo train cars there but in the future also repair and build railways there, LETA/Eesti Päevaleht writes.

"Renting cargo cars is a very profitable business into which I have invested nearly 150 million euros this year. The Finnish business direction will get a part of that investment," said Ossinovski. "At the moment I have there three people in the office but the aim is to start building railways with Estonian railway workers there."

Skinest Finland targets all services that the railways concern offers, including also sale of locomotives, railcars and spare parts. "The Finns are very much interested in my offer since their railway's Russian direction activities are gathering impetus," said Ossinovski.

Ossinovski said that expansion to Finland doesn't mean reduction of business in Estonia since expansion of privately owned ports, for example Sillamäe port, and terminals provides plenty of work for construction and sale of railway materials.
