Registration of new cars in Estonia grew by 40% in July

Print versionAccording to data collected by the Statistics Board, registration of new vehicles in Estonia grew by 38.8% in July 2012, in the year-on-year comparison, writes Äripäev.ee/LETA.

A total of 1,794 new vehicles were registered in July 2012.
There is, however, still room for growth until reaching the pre-crisis levels. In July 2008, for example, 2,337 new vehicles were registered. By July 2009, this number fell abruptly to 714.
Registration of new vehicles owned by individuals grew much less than the overall indicator, only 14%.
