Enterprise Estonia to support prototyping projects with 1 mln euros

Print versionEnterprise Estonia has launched a 1-million-euro line of grants to support companies looking to open centers for practical testing of technologies and product concepts, the national broadcasting corporation ERR reports.

The prototyping center program, funded directly by the state, is aimed at research and development (R&D) institutions and science parks set up by the state and local government. Majority of the funding should be spent on equipment and instruments, writes LETA.
The maximum grant is 350,000 euros, at the same time, self-financing must form at least ten percent of the project cost, while application period lasts until August 21, 2012. The program foresees partnerships between universities and technology parks.
