Juhan Tere, BC, Tallinn, 25.06.2012.Print version
A guide to contemporary architecture in Tallinn is a brand new map introducing the city's modern architecture, Tallinn Tourism Center reports.

The map or short guide-book, advises visitors on modern parts of Tallinn, highlighting the best of contemporary works and pointing out also the 30s building boom and 80s creations built for the Moscow Olympics.

The guide book was necessary because Tallinn has significant amount of historic buildings next to more recent contemporary architecture.

The map introduces seven routes with ten architecturally significant objects in each of them.

Cafes, restaurants, play areas for kids, markets and other places are pointed out on the map.

The architecture map is on sale at Tallinn Tourist Information Center, Kumu Art Museum, Seaplane Harbor, Tallinn TV Tower, Estonian Architecture Museum, bookshop Rahva Raamat and many other places.
