Matek opens new plant in Pärnu

Print versionEstonia's oldest manufacturer of custom-made prefabricated timber frame houses Matek has opened a new plant in Pärnu, news service BBN writes.

The building's are is 7,700 square meters. The plant foresees increasing the production capacity almost twofold, reports LETA.
Matek was located on rental premises so far, but it did not suit their requirements anymore due to technological development of the company.
"We plan to at least double the output in the next three years and create at least 50 new jobs,” said Sven Mats, CEO of Matek.
The construction of the new plant was started in summer 2011 and was carried out according to original plan allowing tarting operating in the new address in March 2012.
