Protective clothing can be certified in Lithuania
BC, Vilnius, 25.09.2020.Print version
More of personal protection equipment – protective clothing – can from now on be certified in Lithuania after the mandate of the Lithuanian Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC) was expanded and necessary certificates were issued, the vz.lt news website reports, cites LETA/BNS.
Businesses say it will be faster and more convenient to turn to local certifiers and there will be no need to look for notified institutions in other countries.
Although the PPE spectrum has been expanded, masks are not included, despite the fact that the majority of requests and inquiries are related to face masks.
