Fourth KFC restaurant opened at Alfa Shopping Center

RIGAThe fourth Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) fast-food restaurant in Latvia has been opened at the Alfa Shopping Center, KFC representatives told LETA.

The new restaurant opened on Tuesday and is designed according to the brand's new concept. The new KFC restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Alfa Shopping Center, and its interior is decorated in a modern style typical of a classic American diner.


At the same time, the owners of the KFC franchise, the Estonian company Apollo Group, revealed that in the coming years it is planned to open new KFC restaurants in other areas of the capital, which are easily accessible on a daily basis to every fan of the brand.


The new restaurant hall has 56 seats and a typical KFC open kitchen, complemented by digital menus, self-service cash registers and free refill stations. The restaurant team consists of 20 catering professionals, but the menu includes all the favorite chicken dishes, snacks and desserts, prepared according to traditional KFC recipes and offers a wide range of options for every taste.

 

As reported, in February 2019, Apollo Group acquired KFC restaurants in Latvia and Lithuania from Lithuania's Cibus Group.


Apollo Group is a holding company that owns Apollo book stores, Apollo cinemas, Blender juice bars and IceCafe ice cream cafes as well as the film distribution company Baltic Film Distribution. Apollo Group's major owners are Margus Linnamae through UP Invest OU with 55% and Ivar Venderlin through Sandbach OU with 45%.
