Latvian air line airBaltic plans to launch direct flights from Vilnius to Kiev in October, informed LETA/BNS.
The new flights will be performed three times a week on an Airbus A220-300 aircraft, the company said in a statement.
"We are ready to provide additional connectivity from all three Baltic capitals. While following all of the restrictions and recommendations from official authorities and having introduced various additional health measures, we continue to adjust our network. This summer it is already the fifth brand new route we have launched from Vilnius," Martin Gauss, CEO at airBaltic, said.
The first flight is scheduled for October 6.
