Lithuania's Kaunas signs stadium, "Science Island" contract with Autokausta

Print versionThe authorities of Lithuania's second-largest city of Kaunas have signed a contract with Autokausta on the reconstruction of the Darius and Girenas Stadium and the construction of Lithuania's science museum, known as "Science Island", on the Nemunas Island, informed LETA/BNS.

The stadium reconstruction work is estimated at 32 mln euros and the construction of the "Science Island" will be worth 24.3 mln euros. Both projects are expected to be completed by 2022, the local municipality said.
