Latvian Kronis vegetables processing company expects slight increase of turnover in 2020

Latvian food-processing company Kronis this year plans a slight increase of turnover, the company's co-owner and board member Aivars Svarenieks told LETA.
He said that in the first six months of this year Kronis did
not see any drop in turnover, and the company managed to slightly increase
exports and retail sales, compensating for drop in HoReCa segment.
Svarenieks said that the company has not revised this year's
plans due to the coronavirus. The company plans to install new technological
equipment, The investment project will be implemented by the end of the year.
In 2019, Kronis generated EUR 2.871 mln in turnover,
up 14.2 %, while its profit increased several times EUR 166,367.
Kronis was established in 1993. Its largest
shareholders are Janis Abolins (46.16%) and Aivars Svarenieks
(40.04%).
