A new cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia's Novatek arrived in the Lithuanian seaport of Klaipeda on August 6th, marking the 43rd such cargo in the gas year that started in October 2019, informs LETA/BNS.

The Coral Flavia came from Russia's Baltic Sea port of Vysotsk, where Novatek has an LNG facility, and docked at the Klaipeda LNG terminal's FSRU Independence on Thursday, according to the vessel tracking websites Marinetraffic.com and Myshiptracking.com.

Klaipedos Nafta, the terminal's operator, has told BNS that the gas carrier was to deliver some 10,000 cubic meters of LNG.

The Klaipeda terminal has also handled 16 large LNG shipments from Norway and four large cargoes from the US in the current gas year that will end in late September.
