BC, Tallinn, 27.07.2020.Print version
The cruise season in Estonia will this year be opened by the Estonian-flagged Victoria, which is scheduled to berth at the port of Saaremaa with about one thousand Finnish tourists onboard on July 28th, informs LETA/BNS.
The 193-meter Tallink vessel that has a capacity of up to 2,500 passengers and 300 cars, built in Finland 16 years ago, underwent major repairs in Finland last year.
Two cruise ships, AidaAura and AidaCara, are to call at the cruise harbor of Tallinn without any passengers onboard on Monday and Tuesday to refuel and replenish supplies.
The ships belong to the German company Aida Cruises, which owns altogether 13 vessels and has announced the resumption of cruises in August with three ships: AidaPerla, AidaMar and AidaBlu.
The cruises launched by Aida Cruises in August will be brief sea journeys starting in Germany.
