Orkla Latvija opens online store
"We are developing shopping for our products on e-commerce platform. Now we are available directly in stores and on internet store. This is a natural business development," said Orkla Latvija board chairman Toms Didrihsons.
Orkla Latvija offers such products as sweets, chocolate, cookies, preserves, potato chips and salted snacks, ready-made food, dressings and cakes under the brands of Laima, Selga, Staburadze, Adazu Cipsi, Everest, Pedro, Spilva, Gutta and others in its online store.
Delivery of products worth over EUR 35 will be free of charge.
As reported, in 2018 Orkla Latvija posted EUR 116.092 million in turnover, up 3.1 percent from a year ago.
In 2015, Norwegian food group Orkla, which owned Latvia’s NP Foods group, decided to merge Latvian food companies Laima, Staburadze, Latfood and NP Foods into one company, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Latvija. Also, Latvian Spilva and Gutta companies were merged into Orkla Foods Latvija.
Continuing the reorganization of Orkla Group's companies in Latvia, Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Latvija has been renamed to Orkla Latvija.
