BC, Riga, 26.06.2020.Print version
The Latvian National Theater plans to resume work in August, the theater's director Janis Vimba told TV3 this morning, cites LETA.
Vimba noted that additional government decisions on easing the restrictions imposed by Covid-19 have yet to be made, but the theater hopes to resume work in August.
The theater will start "playing off its debts" in the Small Hall, while performances in the Great Hall cannot take place at the moment due to restrictions.
Accordingly, the theater will try to carry over the unplayed performances that were cancelled due to Covid-19.
Vimba said that after the Covid-19 crisis, the National Theater does not plan to change its ticket prices.
