Turnover of DHL Latvia grows by 10.3% in 2017

Print versionDHL Latvia express mail company last year generated EUR 30.9 million in sales, up 10.3% from 2016, while the company’s loss reached EUR 82,059 in contrast to a profit a year ago, writes LETA, according to Firmas.lv business database.

The management said that turnover rose because of growth in all kinds of transport. Express mail services increased by 9%. A negative impact was left by shortage of qualified workforce.
The forecasts for 2018 are positive, with a moderate growth. The company’s future plans are related with development in the e-commerce segment.
In 2016, DHL Latvia posted EUR 28.025 million in sales, and earned EUR 26,936 in profit.
DHL Latvia, founded in 1995, belongs to Deutsche Post Beteiligungen Holding Gmbh. The company' share capital is EUR 71,700.
