Citadele issues EUR 994,000 loan to Rigvir science center lab

Print versionLatvia’s Citadele bank has issued a EUR 994,000 loan to Rigvir holding company Latima for completion of science center laboratory, said Rigvir executive director Kristine Juckovica, cites LETA.

She said that the loan will be used to build the premises and Good Manufacturing Practice certification of the laboratory and pharmaceutical plant, as well as purchase of new laboratory equipment. The loan has been granted with the support of Development Financial Institution Altum.
So far EUR 1.3 million have been invested in the project, and the total investments will amount to EUR 2.6 million.
Latima is the producer of Rigvir anti-cancer medicine and belongs to Rigvir concern.
Citadele bank was Latvia’s fifth largest bank by assets at the end of September 2017.
