Tallink share jumps by 7.55% in November

The share of listed shipper Tallink Grupp moved up an impressive 7.55% on the Tallinn stock exchange in November 2017, a month otherwise characterized by negative price movements and lackluster activity, reports LETA/BNS.

During the month 3,684 transactions worth altogether 8.92 million euros were concluded on the Tallinn stock exchange and the OMXT index climbed 1.75% to 1,237.60 points.

 

Tallink, which registered a bigger turnover than any other share during the month, surged 7.55% to 1.140 euros with 730 trades transacted and a turnover of 4.33 million euros.

 

Olympic Entertainment Group eased 0.54% in monthly trade to 1.850 euros as 998,700 euros ' worth of shares in the casino operator changed hands in 443 trades.

 

Financial services group LHV Group dropped 1.80% to 10.900 euros in 373 transactions that produced a turnover of 773,200 euros.

 

The other issuers that saw turnovers of more than half a million euros were retailer Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp and water services company Tallinna Vesi. Kaubamaja finished the month unchanged at 9.130 euros, with 444 trades transacted and a turnover of 594,800 euros. Tallinna Vesi came down 0.82% to 12.100 euros in 410 transactions which produced a turnover of 535,900 euros.

 

The index of the market of Riga advanced 3.04% to 1,052.77 points with 1,254 trades transacted and a turnover of 1.63 million euros. Vilnius meanwhile eased a marginal 0.07% to 660.19 points, the number of transactions was 4,132 and turnover reached 9.4 million euros.
