Lithuania posts EU's largest increase in new car sales for 9 months

Print versionLithuania's new car sales for the ten months through October 2017 rose at the fastest rate in the EU, figures from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) showed on Thursday, cites LETA/BNS.

New passenger car registrations in Lithuania jumped by 23.7 in January through October year-on-year to 21,500 units.
Latvia posted a 1.3% annual increase to 14,100 and Estonia recorded an 11.1% rise to 21,400 units.
Across the European Union, car sales grew by 3.9% to 12.8 million.
