Taxify to employ 70 new employees in Tartu

Taxify, the taxi hailing app of Estonian origin, is to employ 20 new developers and 50 customer support specialists in Tartu, reports LETA/BNS.
According to Rain Johanson, head
of Taxify's development team, the new
projects of the company are data mining as well as working with algorithms
based on machine learning. "In the past year the number of rides has
increased 10-fold. Due to the fast growth we need highly skilled customer
support specialists and IT talents to manage a platform with thousands of
real-time rides and to make the mobile application generally more effective
using machine learning," Johanson said in a press release.
Founded in 2013, Taxify is active
in 28 cities in 20 different countries. It employs a workforce of over 200.
