Food Union invests EUR 25,000 in development of Rasens brand

Latvian dairy company Food Union has invested EUR 25,000 in development of its Rasens brand, LETA learned from the concern.

Food Union informed that the concern has expanded the range of its Rasens fermented milk drinks with four new products. Customers will be offered new drinks with raspberry and multi-fruit flavors and strawberry-banana flavors in new 220-gram packaging with a cap.


Food Union also reported that for the first time Rasens been packaged in 220-gram "on the go" bottles with a cap.


Another new flavor is orange-mango beverage in 100-gram packaging.


Food Union Group is an international group of dairy and ice cream producing companies. Food Union Group comprises Rigas Piena Kombinats, Valmieras Piens, and Rigas Piensaimnieks in Latvia, Premia in Estonia and Lithuania, Premier Is in Denmark, Isbjorn Is in Norway, Alpin57Lux in Romania, Hladokombinat No.1 in Russia, Ingman Ice Cream in Belarus, and two dairy production facilities currently under construction in China.


Food Union exports its products to more than 25 world countries but its main markets are Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Norway, Poland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Russia and China.
