Kurzemes CMAS veterinary company posts EUR 87,322 in 9-month profit; sales up 2.5%

Latvian veterinary company Kurzemes CMAS in the first nine months of this year generated EUR 719,835 million in sales, up 2.5% from the respective period last year, while the company’s profit increased 18.6% to EUR 87,322, writes LETA, according to the company’s unaudited financial report submitted to the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange.

The company’s management said in its report that the biggest risk is related with the outbreak of the African swine fever in Latvia’s territory.

 

Also, in the reporting period, the company received subsidies from the state and EU in the amount of EUR 7,347. Subsidies received for breed animals maintenance and EU payments area.

 

As reported, in the first nine months of 2016, Kurzemes CMAS posted EUR 702,552 in turnover and EUR 73,649 in profit.


Shares in Kurzemes CMAS are quoted on the Secondary List of the Nasdqa Riga stock exchange.
