Measured in euros, revenue grew 2.6% to 72.7 million euros, it appears from the interim report.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased 7.6% to 234 million kronor or 24.3 million euros.

In the first nine months of the year the sales of Telia Estonia grew 2.6% to 2.04 billion Swedish kronor or 212.4 million euros and EBITDA by 8.7% to 656 million Swedish kronor or 68.2 million euros.

"It is our this year's strongest quarterly result which shows that we have made the right business decisions," Telia Estonia board member Dan Stromberg said. He added that the company has decided to direct additional funds to updating the fixed network and will continue active development in the direction of the 5G network,

Sales of the Telia group declined by 6.9% to 58.68 billion Swedish kronor or 5.89 billion euros in the third quarter. EBITDA decreased 3.1% to 18.85 billion kronor or 1.96 billion euros.
