Turnover of TNT Latvia reached EUR 4.25 mln in 5 months

The
company’s management said in its report that the company’s financial year has
changed – the 2016 report includes a report for 12 months, while 2017 is a
shortened financial year with five months.
At the same time, in the first five months of this
year compared to the respective period last year the company’s revenues have
risen by 15%.
The company reported a significant rise in economic
international shipping where revenues rose by 19%.
In May last year FedEx completed the acquisition of TNT. At present TNT Express integration is in progress, and TNT Latvia’s strategic goal is to
continue providing world-class service to its customers based on the strong
features of FedEx Express and TNT Express.
In 2016, TNT Latvia generated EUR 9.566
million in sales and earned EUR 340,213 in profit.
TNT Latvia, founded in 1999, has a share capital of EUR 2,859. The company is fully
owned by Finnish-registered TNT Suomi.
