Retailer Prisma will on October 18th start selling private label products of the British retailer Tesco at its stores in Estonia, reports LETA/BNS.

Prisma Peremarkets will be offering Tesco private label gluten-free, wheat-free, egg-free and dairy-free products as well as hygiene and cosmetics products, Piret Lankots, spokesperson for the Estonian operation of Prisma, said.

Prisma is a retailer of the Finnish SOK Group that is active in the markets of Finland, Estonia, Russia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Active in Estonia since 2000, Prisma at present has five stores in Tallinn, two in Tartu and one in the northeastern border city Narva.

Prisma Peremarket AS, Estonian operation of Prisma, had sales of 190.4 million euros in 2016, 3.5 percent less than in the preceding year. The company employed 927 people on average and its wage costs inclusive of social tax totaled 12.8 million euros.

Finnish retailer SOK Group announced in May this year that it is introducing  selected products from Tesco's private label range into its stores. Prisma, S-Market and Alepa stores will feature around 200 products from the British retailer, as part of a partnership agreement, it said.
