Patria said on Tuesday that it will inform in greater detail about its planned investment in the Estonian defense industry and present its plans concerning the provision of services to the Estonian national defense structures on Friday. Besides the company is planning to offer life cycle services in the Baltic countries in collaboration with the defense forces, Patria said.

Patria is a provider of defense, security and aviation life cycle support services and technology solutions. Besides Finland, it has operations in Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and South Africa. Patria employs a workforce of 2,800.

Patria is owned by the state of Finland, which holds a stake of 50.1%, and Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace AS of Norway, which holds 49.9%.
