Forevers meatpacker to invest EUR 22 mln in new plant
The new
plant will allow the company to increase its market share in the local market,
and expand exports.
"We plan to launch construction early next year
and complete the plant in 2019. Preliminary costs have been estimated at EUR 22
million," he said.
The company is considering to attract EU fund
financing to the project, but it is too early to speak about details in this
respect, said Zdans.
"Our present plant has a floor space of 8,250

floor space of 14,000 square meters," he said, adding that without the new
plant further development of the company is hard.
Currently the company sells almost all of its output
in Latvia. "We have a 17% market share. The new plant will allow us to
think about new markets," said Zdans.
