Liepaja SEZ supports development plans worth EUR 2.38 mln

The board of Liepaja Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has supported several development plans worth EUR 2.38 million, said LETA Liepaja SEZ representative Liga Ratniece-Kadege.

The companies plans to invest in upgrade of technological equipment and in construction.

 

Balt Ex Bulk plans to invest EUR 890,735 in a storehouse. Several other companies plans to invest in technological equipment, including EUR 750,000 investment planned by Lesjofors Springs LV, EUR 132,000 by Caljan Rite-Hite Latvia, EUR 350,000 and EUR 130,000 in two projects by Jensen Metal, EUR 127,000 by Duna.

 

The companies have concluded an agreement with Liepaja SEZ in order to receive tax discounts.

 

So far Liepaja SEZ has signed 37 investment agreement for a total sum of EUR 14.1 million.
