Estonian startup Pipedrive to grow its business in the South Asian market

BC, Tallinn, 26.09.2017.Print version
The Estonian startup Pipedrive is planning to localize its sales management software tools into Indian languages to grow its business in the South Asian market, informs LETA/BNS.

"Our sales management software content has been translated into Korean, Japanese and Portuguese, and now localization of content is a strong possibility in Indian languages, although we do not have a specific timeline," Martin Koiva, global head for customer support at Pipedrive, told the India Times.

Pipedrive, best known for its sales customer relationship management (CRM) app, has some 700 customers in India. The company declined to reveal names of top clients on confidentiality grounds.

Pipedrive has a presence across Estonia, the U.S., UK and Portugal. Its global customer base primarily comprises small and medium businesses, including growing tech companies across 140 countries.

The manager, however, ruled out the possibility of Pipedrive establishing standalone offices in key new markets like India and Brazil in the near term, "as we have serviced both markets from our other locations successfully for years."

Koiva said Pipedrive's total venture capital funding is now over 30 million U.S. dollars.

Tallinn-based Pipedrive's principal financiers include Bessemer Venture Partners, Rembrandt Venture Partners and Atomico, a global VC established by Skype co-founder Niklas Zennstrom.
