Lithuania's Girteka Logistics set to buy 2,000 new Volvo trucks

Girteka Logistics, a transport and logistics company of Girteka, one of Lithuania's biggest logistics groups, said that it has signed a contract with Volvo Trucks to buy 2,000 new trucks, informs LETA/BNS.
Under the contract, the value of which is not disclosed, Volvo Trucks is to
deliver the trucks to the Lithuanian company by the end of the year.
Girteka Logistics in February 2016 announced the purchase of 1,000 new Mercedes-Benz. The
company currently has 3,300 trucks and 3,500 semi-trailers.
Girteka Logistics posted a net profit of 6.843 million euros for 2016, down 11% compared
with 2015. Its annual sales revenue rose by 9.5% to 43.281 million euros.
