Cornerstone to be laid for Metsa Wood plywood factory in Parnu

The cornerstone for a plywood factory of Finland's Metsa Serla group in the southwestern Estonian regional capital Parnu will be laid at the 17 Kase Street plot on August 23rd, informs LETA/BNS.
Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology Urve Palo and Metsa Group President and CEO Kari
Jordan will attend the ceremony starting at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
The 55-million-euro plant is to employ a workforce of 200 and produce 50,000
cubic meters of birch plywood per year.
