EUR 300,000 allocated to 8 co-produced film projects in Latvia

The Latvian National Film Center has distributed a EUR 300,000 allocation to eight film projects Latvian film studios are co-producing with foreign filmmakers, LETA was told at the center.
Director Vilnis Kalnaellis’
studio Rija has won the largest
allocation in the competition, as the National Film Center has granted EUR
69,000 for shooting the animation film “Lotte and the Lost Dragons”. Latvian
filmmaker Roberts Vinovskis’ feature
film project “Invisible”, which is being shot at Lokomotive studio, has
received EUR 40,000 and have been allocated to “The Birth of a Cheetah”, a
documentary developed by Gints Grube
at Mistrus Media.
The competition organized by the National Film Center aims to support
international film projects co-produced by Latvian studios.
