Bite mobile operator becomes Apple’s official partner in Latvia

"We have observed that demand for premium class smartphones, including
iPhones, is growing in Latvia and they are among most popular models for Bite
customers. A survey conducted in spring suggest that these phones are broadly
used in business environment and among young people. We are sure that closer
cooperation with the producer will let us considerably improve customers’
experience and increase sales of these smartphones," said Bite Latvija head Kaspars Buls.
Considering recommendations of Apple,
Bite has adapted its network to Apple
devices and it is fully compatible with iPhone software. Also, all Bite representatives have undergone Apple product training program in order
to ensure higher customer service standards.
According to Bite, demand for
iPhones is growing – in the past three years it has increased by 96% and at
present 15% of all phones sold by Bite are iPhones. The company plans to
increase sales to 30% by the end of the year.
Also other mobile operators are Apple
official partners in Latvia – LMT
since 2008, and Tele2 since last
year.
