Pullmann Riga Old Town won the award in the category Best Hotel Tourism & Resort. Other hotels nominated for the award in this category included two Lithuanian hotels, Artagonist in Vilnius and Vytautas Mineral SPA in Birstonas, as well as two Estonian hotels, Hilton Tallinn Park in Tallinn and the Lydia Hotel in Tartu.

Baltic Real Estate Awards 2017 were presented to the best real estate projects completed in the Baltic states in 2016 in the following categories: office building, shopping center, residential building and hotel.

The Baltic Real Estate Awards 2017 ceremony took place on May 25 in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius.

The Pullman Riga Old Town hotel opened in Riga Old City in June 2016 and has already received more than 48,000 guests.

Pullman Riga has been opened by the project investors Wisher Enterprises LV in cooperation with Polish hotel chain Orbis Hotel Group and European hotel operator AccorHotels.

Wisher Enterprises LV belongs to Cyprus-registered companies Naidoo Holdings Limited (50 %), Axost Investments Limited (25 %) and Casnix Investments Limited (25 %). In 2014 Wisher Enterprise LV generated EUR 2.09 mln in sales and sustained loss worth EUR 374,630, according to Firmas.lv business database.

Accor or AccorHotels (since June 2015) is a French hotel operator working in 92 countries. AccorHotels is working with such budget class hotels as Ibis Style, Ibis Budget, medium-class hotels Mercure, Novotel, and upper-class hotels Pullman, Grand Mercure, Mama Shelter, and luxury class hotels Sofitel.

AccorHotels in 2014 generated EUR 5.45 bln in turnover and earned EUR 223 mln in profit.
