Officeday Latvia merges with Sanitex wholesaler

In order to optimize and develop the group’s operations more efficiently, Officeday Latvia office and school supplies wholesaler will be restructured and merged with Sanitex wholesaler, Officeday Latvia representatives reported LETA.

Officeday Latvia will not operate as a separate legal entity any more. The services will be ensured by Sanitex, while Officeday brand will still be preserved.


Officeday runs an office and school supplies and services chain in the Baltic states with more than 20 specialized stores. Since 2015 Officeday Latvia is a Sanitex group company.

In 2015 Officeday Latvia posted EUR 17.077 mln in sales and EUR 341,146 in profit.


Sanitex, founded in 1992, is operating in Lithuania and Latvia and is developing business in Estonia and Poland. The company provides logistics services not only to international companies, such as Philip Morris International, but also has its Cash & Carry stores. The group employs more than 3,500 people.


In 2015 Sanitex posted EUR 253.414 mln in turnover, and its profit was EUR 1.369 mln.
