ABLV Bank invests in SG Capital Partners Fund 1 limited partnership

ABLV Bank has invested in SG Capital Partners Fund 1 limited partnership, according to the bank’s statement to the Nasdaq Riga stock exchange.

The bank’s representatives informed that ABLV Bank, as a limited partner, made its first investment in SG Capital Partners Fund 1 on Thursday, April 20.


“The amount of contributions to SG Capital Partners Fund 1, registered with the Commercial Register is EUR 41,160,000, including ABLV Bank’s contribution in the amount of EUR 10,000,000,” the bank said.


Since ABLV Bank holds a 24.29% stake in SG Capital Partners Fund 1, its contribution to the limited partnership makes up the qualifying holding.


SG Capital Partners Fund 1 is managed by SG Capital Partners AIFP, a fund specializing in real estate. New Hanza Capital, a member of ABLV Bank Group, owns 30 of SG Capital Partners AIFP shares.


ABLV Bank is the second largest bank in Latvia by assets. Its key owners Olegs Fils, Ernests Bernis and Nika Berne own 86.55% of the bank’s share capital.
