Lithuania's SEB Bankas plans to pay out EUR 123 mln as dividends

SEB Bankas, Lithuania's biggest commercial bank by assets, plans to pay out 123.146 mln euros as dividends, its largest-ever dividend payment, writes LETA/BNS.
Sweden's SEB Group,
the bank's sole shareholder, will vote on the management board's proposal
during the annual general meeting scheduled for Mar. 31, SEB Bankas said in a stock exchange release on Tuesday.
SEB Bankas
distributed 30 mln euros as dividends in 2014, its first dividend payout in 14
years. It paid out 65.3 mln euros in 2015 and another 88.8 mln euros in 2016.
The shareholder meeting will be asked to distribute a total
of 256.16 mln euros, of which 17.532 mln euros is be transferred to the legal
reserve, bringing it to 156.4 mln euros, and 209.967 mln euros to be carried
forward into the next financial year.
The bank's net profit soared by 52.2 % last year compared
with 2015 to reach 94.485 mln euros.
