Riga Airport's 2016 profit estimated at EUR 358,450

Print versionAccording to preliminary data, Riga International Airport achieved EUR 50.447 mln in turnover last year, which is 2.8 % more than in 2015, while the airport's profit fell 3.2 times to EUR 358,450, the Riga Airport informs.

The airport's assets stood at EUR 180.396 mln at the end of
2016, 3 % or EUR 5.632 mln down from 2015.
The Riga Airport's passenger turnover amounted to 5.4 mln
passengers last year, a 4.6 % increase on 2015. The airport also served 68,061
flights and handled 19,760 tons of cargo last year.
In 2015, the Riga Airport posted EUR 49.09 mln in turnover,
9.4% up on 2014, while the company's profit rose to EUR 1.15 mln.
The Riga Airport is the largest aviation hub in the Baltic countries.
