Latvia's People Fitness chain to open club in Tallinn

The Latvian fitness chain People Fitness is about to open its first club in Estonia in the Mustika Center shopping mall in Tallinn's southwestern suburb of Mustamae on Saturday, People Fitness representatives reports BC.

Sasha Dembo, marketing chief of People Fitness, said that the company sees the Estonian market as having strong potential, as pursuing of an active and healthy lifestyle continues to be on the rise here.


"While competition among fitness clubs is intense, particularly in Tallinn, prices are rather high. Our goal is to offer high quality and diverse opportunities for exercise at an affordable price," Dembo said.


People Fitness, which started business in Latvia in 2016, runs two fitness clubs in the capital Riga. The company is planning to open a club in Vilnius in May and four clubs in other countries of Europe in the course of 2017.
