Riga airport received 4,999 mln passengers

In November 2016, Riga airport handled 385,578 passengers,
up 0.9% from the same month in 2015.
During the 11 months of 2016, Riga airport also handled
62,796 flights, down 0.1% from the same month last year. In November, the
number of flights dropped 1.7% year-on-year to 5,229.
During the 11-month period, the airport also reloaded 18,050
tons of cargo, up 6.6% from the same period last year. In November, cargo
handling at Riga airport dropped 11.3% from the same month in 2015, to 1,669
tons.
In 2015, Riga airport provided services to 5.163 million
passengers, up 7.2% from 2014, as well as handled 68,078 flights and 18,863
tons of cargo.
Fully-owned by the Latvian state, Riga International Airport
is the largest air traffic hub in the Baltic states.
